Good Morning, Penny Darlings!
How is everyone? I know that I’m still getting over that tech week sleep deprivation! I was only helping with costumes! I can’t even imagine how the actors are feeling! But it was a LOT of theatre and work and not much sleep! (Which is, yes, our own fault, but if not when you’re 25, then when?)
There is currently a repairman in my shower. So I look and feel disgusting! But hopefully soon I’ll be squeaky clean soon enough.
I’m catching up from all the weekend work! And ooh, I have a few things coming up this week which is really exciting! A meeting this morning, a phone meeting tomorrow, blog posts to get up, tons of e-mails, double photo shoot this week, etc.! Being a blogger and stuff.

But I want to talk about my content for today!:
PURSES
I am constantly getting asked about my (lack of) purses. Like, 90% of the times – I don’t have a purse or jewelry in my pictures! And one of the things I’ve been working on is building up a selection of purses to mix and match with my looks for more complete styles. (Shoes are on this list next, I swear!)
But, as I grow my collection, I am not pressed for the need to fill it with over the top designers. I have one or two NICE purses that I use for business/occasions. But I needed some more day to day purses that weren’t going to break the bank.
So I wanted to nab a few pieces that weren’t total bank busters to start my collection!
To find pieces that fit that exact bill – I went to Charming Charlie’s. I ended up spending less than $100 on all five of these (plus a donut hat, a jewelry box, and a clutch that’s not featured!) Some of these are on sale – but their styles go quick! So if you see something you love – hop on it!
I seriously bought most of these less than two weeks ago and some of them are already gone! But it’s totally worth it to see what they have! You may find something else to tickle your fancy.
Foxy Lady
This piece is AMAZINGLY adorable. I wasn’t sure if I loved the tail – but it is removable (and honestly, it grew on me!). This is more of a satchel type bag. Plenty of room for the essentials (phone, wallet, lipstick, tampon, keys) and plenty of space for extra stuff.
This purse (being a new arrival!) cost $29. And obvi. I am a part of their Charm Club rewards which is all kinds of coupons and discounts and stuff. But retail price: $29.
This one is limited and only a few left to snag! Grab it right meow!
I styled it with this Society+ dress and this fox scarf that my brother’s girlfriend got me for my birthday! (Thanks Rachel!)
No One Was Stirring, Not Even a….
This little mouse satchel is adorable, easy to make grown up looking, with that splash of quirky whimsy that I like! I styled it with a pair of gray flats (that I missed!), this awesome deep blue frock, and a gray hair bow.
I like to keep it cute, functional, and whimsical!

My Fave Piece
This cheetah bag was part of a BOGO Free sale and it literally works for everything. It’s a great bag for casual days, dressy, going out, cutesy. It works from Boss Babe to cat sweater to leggings. It’s seriously amazing. Unfortunately this was on DEEP clearance and I paid only $16 for this AND another purse.

The next few weeks have some awesome stuff planned! I have a Gwynnie Bee post planned! This is the second part in a 3-Tier Halloween Posting (3.5 is more accurate!) and some romantic stuff (mine and Preston’s three year anniversary is this month!). Literally can’t wait. And I CANNOT wait to get into the holiday season. I’ve got Halloween outfits planned, Halloween costumes, couple’s costumes, stocking ideas, gift ideas, holiday wear. Ya’ll….it’s going to be Ah-MAH-Zing
