Happy HuuuuUUUUUUmp day!
I hope that everyone had a happy, safe, fun, festive, & merry holiday and got to give and receive a lot of holiday cheer!
Preston & I spent Christmas Eve with my family (also my brother’s birthday!) and we spent Christmas Day with Preston’s family! There was lots of good food and cheer to be spread! And we are planning on keeping up with our annual tradition of seeing TWO broadway shows. And we saw our fourth venue yesterday! We all but have a date set!
But this year, since NYE is coming up – I wanted to share my New Year’s Eve look! Preston and I are planning on heading to a party and you know me, I love to look GLAM AF 100% of the time.

My Look
So I wanted to do a little roaring 20’s glam. I added this gold glimmer pleated skirt that I am OBSESSED with from Gwynnie Bee!

I paired this glimmer gold skirt, a plain black top, my fur and pearl shrug, this headband from Target, and this clock purse!

And what would an outfit be without details!
This lip color is from Caked and is in the color Low Key! I got my lip color from my Ipsy bag originally and it has become my absolute GO-TO lippie. (I’m looking at you, Lauren!)
I bought my headband from Wal-Mart and couldn’t find an exact dupe of it online – but here’s a few online dupes! You can try this gold based and feather one or this pearl based headband!
And my piece-de-resistance – this AMAZING clock purse – also from Wal-Mart – that you can nab FOR UNDER TWELVE FREAKING DOLLARS! That’s right. Under $12. This is the perfect NYE clock purse!

Another moment to thank everyone reading for letting me make this my full time job. I have never felt more challenged and fulfilled and happy than I have in a long time. You are all wonderful and I am so thrilled with getting to know each and everyone of you!

FYI in the beginning you say the headband is from Target and later Walmart. Once a copy editor, always a copy editor. Lol. That may be why you couldn’t find it later at Walmart.
