Hello everyone!
Preston and I are now officially Mr. & Mrs. Darling! We have been loving married life so far (although, for the most part, it doesn’t feel too different!).
I cannot WAIT to post wedding pics for everyone! It’s going to be AMAZING!
But, as many of you know, Preston and I had a roommate who moved out (when we got married- very amicable!) but my beloved Harvey was Jeremy’s pup and my heart broke when he had to leave me.
And because I have absolutely no chill and needed to fill the four legged void in my life, we got hitched on Saturday, slept on Sunday, and adopted a dog on Monday.
Yep. We went to an animal rescue, found Charlie, and immediately fell in love with his little scruffy face.
Here’s what we’ve learned about Charlie so far:
He’s a rescue – but I’m not sure from what he was rescued from.
He’s a Morkie Poo – He’s a mix of a Maltese, Yorkie, & Poodle. He’s a mini-mutt!
He’s ALL the colors. His body is a mix of white, gray and apricot. His ears are brown and black, and his tail is black. He’s a calico pup!
He weighs 8lbs and definitely does NOT fit into XS dog costumes.
Charlie’s Likes:
Being held constantly
Getting pet right on his his little face
Popcorn
Perching on top of the couch
Car Rides
Baths
Snuggling
Sleeping in
Tennis Balls & his rainbow caterpillar toy
Licking your nose
Growling at the mailman
Running around the dog park
Playing with the neighbor dogs
Basking on the porch
Sitting and sleeping on my shoulder
Wearing a tiny dog sweater
Sitting on my lap every time I go to the bathroom
Stealing hearts
Charlie’s Dislikes
Not getting a bite of your food
When new people are close enough for him to smell but not close enough to say hello
That Mia (the collie across the hall!) is WAY faster than him.
The trashcan
Too tall of grass when playing fetch
When I close the front door with us on opposite sides for any reason
Lawn mowers
What I love about Charlie…
everything. Absolutely everything.
