Happy Tuesday, Penny Darlings!
I am so PUMPED! I have some great collabs coming up and I feel like I’ve reached a good feeling of balance in my life! And we’re having a Halloween party this weekend! Our whole building (which is only 6 apartments) are friends so the whole building is hosting!
Charlie Pupdate: HE’S THE CUTEST and I love him. His little schmoopie face brings me so much freaking joy.
Let me just squeeze in some of the boring stuff! Ha! Check me out on Instagram here! I also started a Twitter account! Find that here!
I also have a selling Instagram page where I sell some of my old clothes/styles so that I don’t drown in my own wardrobe. I just listed a few new things – so check that out!
All my affiliate codes and links to things are posted in my Spiel Section.
But earlier last week, I had asked for a reader round-up of their Halloween movie must-watches! Since the spookiest day of the year is inching closer and closer to us, I wanted to share some of my must-watch and some round ups from you all!
13 Movies to Watch
1.) Hocus Pocus
This is an easy one. Definitely one of my absolute favorites. It’s so fabulous. It’s so good, it’s even fun to watch the other 11 months of the year!
2.) Halloweentown
A healthy dose of Nostalgia is always a good time!
3.) Halloween
For the classic slasher fan in all of us. Personal story: there used to be a kid in my neighborhood who dressed up as Mike Meyers every freaking year with the full mask and knife and just lurked around in our suburban neighborhood to freak people out. I literally went to pre-school with this guy. He got stopped by the cops like a zillion times.
4.) Friday the 13th
I literally left a sleepover in 6th grade because this movie freaked me out so much. I rewatched it in my 20’s and it’s still scary AF.
5.) Beetlejuice
Beetleguese, Beetleguese, Beetle….
6.) Student Bodies
This movie is SO ahead of its time. This is an early 80’s horror spoof movie. It’s the ORIGINAL scary movie and it’s SUPER weird and makes little to no sense. And it’s laugh out loud funny.
7.) Sleepaway Camp 2: Unhappy Campers
Another so bad that it’s good movie. It’s hilariously awful and a great time. All of the slashings are IRONIC and punny and it’s awful. Please. watch it.
Seeing Sleepaway Camp is always recommended, but not required viewing for this gem.
8.) It’s The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown
So classic that even thinking that phrase should melt your damn heart.
9.) Rocky Horror Picture Show
Another cult classic, long beloved by theatre nerds. This movie is a hot garbage can fire of delight and nonsense and sequins.
10.) Addams Family & Addams Family Values
This is such a fun little romp in cinema. And Addams Family Values Thanksgiving pageant is literally all the things.
11.) Nightmare Before Christmas
Literally what’s not to like about this.
12.) Paranormal Activity Trilogy
I know these became a little oversaturated, but for real, the first three made a splash for a reason. They’re awesome. 10/10 worth the rewatch.
13.) Double Double, Toil in Trouble
So just end with the most delightful nostalgia movie of all time. Ya girl was OBSESSED with Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen!
What did I miss? What’s your fave Halloween flick?
