Happy Friday, Penny Darlings!
We’re in to the second week of shows for Preston’s production of Ragtime! So we’re back and forth to the theatre every night, but it’s great to see so many friends every night! If you see him, be sure to wish him a broken leg!

Ya’ll know that I post about my mom ALL. THE. TIME. She is a literal gem and a total badass and one of the weirdest and funniest people I know. If you know my mom, you know she’s a hoot and a half.
I always want to treat her to special Mother’s Day adventures to thank her for being the absolute best mom in the world (and raising such an awesome daughter!). This year, we hit the Hershey MeltSpa for massages & mani’s!
This was an awesome way for us to relax (and eat TONS of chocolate!)
There’s literally chocolate on every surface of the spa. There’s bowls of Hershey Kisses at the reception desk, there’s cocoa everywhere, and it SMELLS like Hershey’s Chocolate. I can’t think of anything more relaxing than that!
The relaxation lounge (the comfy and warm room we unwound in between services) was full of candy, chocolate, cocoa that tastes like it was stirred by magic and is somehow the PERFECT drinking temperature, and more snacks.
We both got treated to mani’s & massages for a ‘Mama’ treat for my mom!
We had a great time wrapped up in our cocoa (and plus size) robes! We got the signature Cocoa Massage, which is a nice medium pressure massage with…get this…COCOA OIL. It left my skin smelling like chocolate and the softest that it has been since before the winter dry skin hit!
My mom & I then popped over to get a manicure! More cocoa oil rounded out this experience with a hand massage followed by a great mani. I went with a glittery purple nail while my mom stayed with a neutral light pearly pink.
We left feeling refreshed, relaxed, and GLAM!
