It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood & I am READY for Thanksgiving! Ya girl is pumped for pumpkin cheesecake, my dad’s famous potato filling, stuffing balls, and some holiday punch! Yum! Yum! Yum!
Anyway, as we all know, after Thanksgiving it gets into the holiday season, and as we all know even more; that usually involves some shopping, gifting, & giving!
This holiday season – I am so pumped to be supporting small businesses, local businesses, Etsy shop owners, go-getters, & more! I’ve done tons of #ShoppingSmall so far! It’s been a blast! For this Small Business Saturday, I wanted to compile a list of some of my fave places to shop!
But what is Small Business Saturday, you may ask?
SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY!
If you’re not familiar, Small Business Saturday is the Black Friday for makers, creators, innovators, and shakers! It’s a great day to go out and support your local shops, download the Etsy app, and shop small business Saturdays!
While I may not be a ‘small business’ exactly, I definitely am a side hustler gone full-time, #GIRLBOSS, entrepreneur. I love shopping small businesses when I can (everything from soap to candles to shopping local farm stands). It’s awesome to get a high quality product, supporting makers of all types, and be able to directly communicate about my purchases!

My faves are the sugar scrub and goatsmilk mousse lotion! Preston loves the beard oil! We are both die-hard fans! I’ve been shopping here since I was in college and I still make the two hour trip to stock up. Preston & I seriously have at least four products in use at any one time! Jewelry Source is a shop is local to my hometown! My mom has gone here for years and the amazing woman who owns the shop is one of those people who is a genuine expert in her craft. I got my wedding ring here, and when I said I wanted one like my mom’s, she didn’t hesitate and grabbed the ring that I now wear every day. I tried on another 20 or, but she was SO right. It was perfect.
