Michigan Trip Part 2: Liz Louize Boutique

Hello, all friends!

This has been a crazy week and I am TOTALLY OVER all of this snow and sleet and yucky weather that’s happening here in PA! These kids in school have only had to go to ONE day of school so far this week. Yikes!

I have tons of fun content coming up in the next few weeks, but I am alwaysalwaysalways interested in hearing your suggestions!

So let’s see, what else? Hmm, blah, blah, blah, – check me out on Instagram here! I also started a Twitter account! Find that here! Follow Preston’s brand new fashion Instagram here! I also have a selling Instagram page where I sell some of my old clothes/styles so that I don’t drown in my own wardrobe. I just listed a few new things – so check that out!

But today, I wanted to share my experience going to Michigan and hitting another stop along my way – I stopped in at Liz Louize, a plus sized quirky girl’s HAVEN, and had a field day trying everything on!

This shop is run by the same company who owns the Bombshell Bridal Boutique and is an absolute quirky heaven! It has brands like Society+, Unique Vintage, Mak, Hell Bunny, Vendula London, Betsey Johnson, and sooooo many more!

For real, being inside this shop was what I imagined this inside of my brain looks like. From the floral wallpaper, tutus, sequins, clean gallery wall, fun fabrics, and tons of bright colors – this was literally a shop version of me! I was obsessed!

And the best part is they have an online shop: check that out here!

So, while I was there, I got to have a literal FIELD DAY where I got to TRY ON quirky plus sized outfits and accessories! I got to actually create outfits (rather than buy pieces and match them up at home!)

Check out Liz Louize on Facebook,  Instagram, & their websitewebsitewebsite!

Outfit #1

I paired this mascara retro cotton frock with this hot pink cardigan and some hot pink shoes for a perfect go-to spring outfit!

Outfit #2:

Next, I grabbed this boatneck swishy UV frock covered with ballerinas! I decided to go for an ‘artist’ themed outfit and snagged this adorable camera purse in front of this AMAZING gallery wall! Bonus: the skirt has some twirl.

Outfit #3:

For anyone who didn’t know: purple is the Pantone color of the year! I decided to make this outfit totally purple! I snagged this lilac sweater, paired it with this ultraviolet bow skirt, a rose gold sequin cami, and some little purple flats to tie it all together! Bonus: this skirt comes in a BUNCH of colors!

Outfit #4

I was so pumped to actually get to try this skirt on! So freaking cute! It’s a UV skirt and this one is a sweet shop (totally my aesthetic!) I paired it with this mint crochet top and this hot pink sweater! Totally retro vibes! And how cute are those heart hang ups?

Bonus Outfit:

The lovely gals at Bombshell Bridal Boutique gifted me this ADORABLE shirt after saying yes to the dress! They even design it in house, which is amazing! I paired it with some adorable hot pink flats and this twirl-rrific blush tutu! Then my mom spotted this AMAZING Vendula London box bag and it was the perfect color compliment!
